Developments in Electrical-Property Tomography Based on the Contrast-Source Inversion Method

open access: yesJournal of Imaging, 2019
The main objective of electrical-property tomography (EPT) is to retrieve dielectric tissue parameters from B ^ 1 + data as measured by a magnetic-resonance (MR) scanner.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Field scale tests of cover crops I and II

open access: yes, 1992
During 1990-1991 three separate field scale cover crop trials were conducted in Middlesex, Perth and Huron counties in southwestern Ontario. The first trial looked at broadcasting barley and annual ryegrass into corn when the corn was at approximately ...

Strip cropping shows promising increases in ground beetle community diversity compared to monocultures

open access: yeseLife
Global biodiversity is declining at an unprecedented rate, with agriculture as one of the major drivers. There is mounting evidence that intercropping can increase insect biodiversity while maintaining or increasing yield.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Bethe Ansatz equations for the classical A^(1)_n affine Toda field theories [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We establish a correspondence between classical A(1)n affine Toda field theories and An Bethe Ansatz systems. We show that the connection coefficients relating specific solutions of the associated classical linear problem satisfy functional relations of ...
