STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF LOCAL PLOTS OF BITS SEQUENCES
The joint distributions of the number of 2-chains and the number of 3-chains of a fixed form of a random (0, 1)-sequence, which allow a statistical analysis of local sections of this sequence, were examined.

ABSTRACT Immune effector cell‐associated hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis‐like syndrome (IEC‐HS) is a life‐threatening hyperinflammatory toxicity distinct from cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and neurotoxicity following chimeric antigen receptor T‐cell (CAR‐T) therapy. In a single‐institution retrospective cohort of pediatric and young adult patients

The Abel-type transformations into ℓ
Let t be a sequence in (0,1) that converges to 1, and define the Abel-type matrix Aα,t by ank=(k+α k)tnk+1(1−tn)α+1 for α>−1. The matrix Aα,t determines a sequence-to-sequence variant of the Abel-type power series method of summability introduced by ...

Characterizing Communication Channel Deadlocks in Sequence Diagrams
UML sequence diagrams (SDs) are a mainstay of requirements specifications for communication protocols. Mauw and Reniers' algebraic (MRA) semantics formally specifies a behaviour for these SDs that guarantees deadlock free processes.

Independent Generation of Reactive Intermediates Leads to an Alternative Mechanism for Strand Damage Induced by Hole Transfer in Poly(dA–T) Sequences [PDF]
Purine radical cations (dA•+ and dG•+) are the primary hole carriers of DNA hole migration due to their favorable oxidation potential. Much less is known about the reactivity of higher energy pyrimidine radical cations. The thymidine radical cation (T•+) was produced at a defined position in DNA from a photochemical precursor for the first time.

ABSTRACT Introduction Patients requiring long‐term continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) generally have poor prognoses. This study evaluated whether adding continuous intravenous sodium infusion (cIVNa) is associated with improved hemodynamics and outcomes in patients undergoing long‐term CRRT for ≥ 7 days.

Phylogenetic Analysis of Tetragonula Minangkabau and Other Species Using Cytochrome B Gene
Tetragonula a genus in the Meliponini tribe (Apidae), is difficult to identify due to the many cryptic species. As technology develops, molecular taxonomic studies are used to help identify species with limited morphological characteristics.
