A Study on Detection and Recovery of Speech Signal Tampering
2016 IEEE Trustcom/BigDataSE/ISPA, 2016In this paper, a watermark scheme for detecting and recovering the tampering of speech signal is proposed. We embed an approximate version of the origin information into the less significant bits (LSBs). When the watermarked signal is tampered, we can localize the tampered area and exclude from the area, recovery the original one from the approximate ...

Dual Watermarking for Image Tamper Detection and Self-Recovery
2013 Ninth International Conference on Intelligent Information Hiding and Multimedia Signal Processing, 2013Digital image processing technology presents new challenges for the security of the image information, which makes image authentication as a problem to be addressed. Digital watermarking plays an important role in multimedia information security. This paper proposed a dual watermarking method to do tamper location and self-recovery, which utilizes self-

Tamper Detection and Recovery on RGB Images
2020Special devices are required to perform tampering on an analogue image. This requires a serious cost and skill. But it is easy to tamper on a digital image. Digital images can be tampered even with easy accessible free digital image editing software. Moreover, this tampering can occur even with a mobile phone.

Method for detection of image tampering and partial recovery
Ninth International Conference on Computer Science and Information Technologies Revised Selected Papers, 2013In this paper, the problems of detection of unauthorized changes to the content of a digital image, determination of distorted parts and partial recovering of the content from the damaged parts, are considered. most types of image tampering are based on the well known operations of Copy-Paste, Copy-Move or their combinations. In many investigations the

Digital watermarking method for tamper detection and recovery of JPEG images
2010 International Symposium On Information Theory & Its Applications, 2010Digital watermarking is a technique that embeds additional data into digital contents so that the distortion by embedding them is imperceptible, where the additional data are called watermark. One of the applications of digital watermarking is tamper detection and recovery.

MEDICAL IMAGE WATERMARKING FOR AUTHENTICATION, CONFIDENTIALITY, TAMPER DETECTION AND RECOVERY
2019 10th International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT), 2019This paper presents a region based blind medical image watermarking (MIW) scheme for ensuring authenticity, integrity and confidentiality of medical images. Medical image is segmented into region of interest(ROI) and region of non interest (RONI). ROI is watermarked for tamper detection and recovery in the spatial domain.

Semi-fragile watermarking for image tamper localization and self-recovery
Proceedings 2014 IEEE International Conference on Security, Pattern Analysis, and Cybernetics (SPAC), 2014This paper proposes a semi-fragile digital watermarking scheme for image tamper localization and self-recovery. Firstly, the authentication watermark is generated for tampered area localization. After that, for content recovery, the recovery watermark is calculated from high frequency band with redundancy free. Then, for the two type of watermarks, the

Hierarchical recovery for tampered images based on watermark self-embedding
Displays, 2017Abstract In this paper, we propose a new self-embedding watermarking scheme with hierarchical recovery capability. The binary bits in the adopted MSB layers are scrambled and individually interleaved with different extension ratios according to their importance to image visual quality.

Watermarking-based tamper detection and recovery algorithms for official documents
2011 8th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control, 2011This paper proposes two watermarking-based algorithms for temper detection and recovery of the tampered regions, which can be applied to official documents, such as digitized passports and governmental registrations. In both algorithms, a halftone version of the original grayscale image is used as an approximated version of the host image (image digest)

A Robust Algorithm for Digital Watermarking with Tamper Recovery
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013A block-wise and content-based image authentication scheme with location and recovery is presented. In this scheme, the watermark of each block is an encrypted form of its content-feature, which is embedded in another block which selected by an ergodic matrix of a chaotic sequence. The randomicity of selected block can robust the VQ attack.
