A refining localization watermarking for image tamper detection and recovery
2012 IEEE 11th International Conference on Signal Processing, 2012In this paper, we propose an efficient watermarking algorithm for image tamper localization and recovery. To enhance the accuracy of tamper localization, the algorithm contains basic authentication and refining authentication. Basic authentication can locate all blocks that contain the tampered pixels by the basic authentication watermark.

Tamper detection and self-recovery scheme by DWT watermarking
Nonlinear Dynamics, 2014We present a tamper detection algorithm based on cat map and discrete wavelet decomposition. The algorithm is fragile to any tampering modification, but it is robust to harmless common image processing operations like JPEG compression, resizing, noising and filtering.

SVD based fragile watermarking scheme for tamper localization and self-recovery
International Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics, 2015This paper proposes a novel fragile watermarking approach for digital image tamper localization (TL) along with the self-recovery (SR) capability. The host image is first divided into blocks of size 4 × 4 and then, singular value decomposition is performed on each block. The trace of singular matrix is used to compute the TL bits for each block.

A Novel Tamper Detection and Image Recovery Technique for Color Image Demosaicking
2018In this paper, we designed an image integrity protection technique for color image demosaicking. In the proposed technique, the authentication codes are generated based on the random values induced by the random number seed. The recovery codes are generated by compressing the demosaicked image using the block truncation coding technique.
