Experiments on domain adaptation for English-Hindi SMT [PDF]
Statistical Machine Translation (SMT) systems are usually trained on large amounts of bilingual text and monolingual target language text. If a significant amount of out-of-domain data is added to the training data, the quality of translation can drop ...

From FIC to BID : target identification and functional characterization of "Bartonella" effector proteins [PDF]
Pathogens belonging to the genus Bartonella employ a unique stealth infection strategy that involves evasion from the host immune system, replication in the endothelium and persistence in erythrocytes.

The Role of Chemotherapy in Pediatric Myoepithelial Carcinoma: A Systematic Review of the Literature
ABSTRACT Myoepithelial carcinoma (MEC) in pediatric patients is a rare and aggressive malignancy characterized by heterogeneous morphology and variable molecular features. The optimal role of chemotherapy remains unclear. We conducted a systematic review according to PRISMA 2020 guidelines to evaluate chemotherapy in pediatric and young‐adult patients ...

Determining Parental Factors for Clinical Trial Attrition in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Despite high enrollment rates on Children's Oncology Group (COG) protocols, attrition after initial consent is challenging, introducing bias and prolonging trial completion. While adult oncology literature has identified predictors of withdrawal, little is known about caregiver decision‐making for child participation in ...

Cross-Domain Recognition by Identifying Joint Subspaces of Source Domain and Target Domain
This paper introduces a new method to solve the cross-domain recognition problem. Different from the traditional domain adaption methods which rely on a global domain shift for all classes between the source and target domains, the proposed method is more flexible to capture individual class variations across domains.

ABSTRACT Background Patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis commonly experience reduced physical function, fatigue, poor sleep quality, and impaired health‐related quality of life. Intradialytic exercise has been proposed as a non‐pharmacological strategy to improve these outcomes.

Elucidating the mechanisms of cooperative calcium-calmodulin interactions: a structural systems biology approach [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Calmodulin is an important multifunctional molecule that regulates the activities of a large number of proteins in the cell. Calcium binding induces conformational transitions in calmodulin that make it specifically active to particular ...
