Tc-STAMS2 was tested for its robustness towards technical and experimental variations.

open access: yes, 2018
Initially, the Tc-STAMS2 approach was tested for inter-laboratory comparison. Two unknown T.cruzi strains (A and B) were processed as described in the step B of Fig 1 and acquired using the EasynLC coupled to LTQ-Orbitrap Velos mass spectrometer located ...

Mono‐Material Polydisulfides for Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tapes With Closed‐Loop Recyclability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A high‐performance pressure‐sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape is developed where both the adhesive layer and plastic backing layer can be recycled back to monomer in a closed‐loop cycle. Both layers of the tape are composed of analogous polydisulfide copolymers using only two unique monomers, thus giving it a mono‐material design and enabling recycling of ...

Roll‐to‐Roll Processable EC/TC Hybrid Smart Windows Driven by a Bidirectional Dual‐Chromic Polymer Electrolyte

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We present a scalable EC/TC hybrid smart window using a DCPE that enables tunable solar modulation (ΔTsol:15–43%), fast electrochromic switching (<90 s), and strong thermal blocking (10–14°C reduction). HPMC improves thermal stability, while an optimized ISL enhances EC performance.

Bacterial Cellulose‐Based Bilayer Passive Cooler for High‐Performance Radiative/Evaporative Cooling

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A sustainable bilayer passive cooler based on bacterial cellulose integrates radiative and evaporative cooling for efficient zero‐energy temperature reduction. The scalable, low‐carbon material shows strong potential for food preservation, low‐temperature storage, and cold‐chain logistics.

Thermoresponsive Liquid Crystalline Polymer Coatings Programmed by Field‐Induced Topological Defects for Tunable Optical and Topographical Responses

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Resonant standing waves generate large‐area lattices of liquid‐crystal topological defects that are permanently encoded into polymer coatings by photopolymerization. The preserved director architecture produces thermally reconfigurable surface topographies while maintaining programmable optical functionality, demonstrating a scalable strategy for ...

Architecture‐Driven Functional Coupling in Vertically Aligned Nanocomposites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Vertically aligned nanocomposites define a growth‐engineered architecture in which vertical interfaces, strain fields, defect pathways, and phase connectivity are created simultaneously. This review shows how these architectural features couple ferroic, optical, ionic, electrochemical, and device responses, establishing design rules and open challenges

Anatomical features of aneurysm sac, thrombus volume and localization and their impact on post-EVAR outcomes

open access: yesFrontiers in Surgery
IntroductionEndovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR) is widely used to treat abdominal aortic aneurysms. However, long-term success depends on aneurysm sac remodeling, which is influenced by endovascular complications like endoleak.
