MicroRoboScope: A Portable and Integrated Mechatronic Platform for Magnetic and Acoustic Microrobotic Experimentation

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents the MicroRoboScope, a highly integrated, compact, and portable microrobotic experimentation platform combining electromagnetic and acoustic actuation with real‐time visual feedback into a single, end‐to‐end device. The system enables closed‐loop control and tracking algorithm experimentation within an accessible and unified hardware ...

A 6-bit Step Attenuator With a Single Positive Adjustable Bias Using Source Floating Technique in 0.15 μm GaAs Technology

open access: yesIEEE Access
This study presents a 6-bit step attenuator in $0.15~\mu $ m GaAs technology. The fabricated attenuator’s minimum and maximum step attenuation are 0.5 dB and 16 dB, respectively. On attenuator switches, the source floating bias method is utilized

Spin-Axis Attitude Determination Program for the Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit Spacecraft [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Astronomy and Space Sciences, 1993
Three types of spin-axis attitude determination program for the geosynchronous transfer orbit spacecraft are developed. Deterministic closed-form algorithm, batch least-square algorithm and stabilized Kalman filter algorithm are used for implemetation of

Ethical Precision in Nanoscale Brain Interfacing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
As brain interfaces approach the nanoscale, precision no longer only measures—it knows, predicts, and potentially reshapes the mind. This work argues that traditional ethics fails under such conditions and proposes a shift toward continuous, operation‐based governance using the recovery–discovery framework to track, constrain, and responsibly steer ...

A Novel High Suppression Multilayer Frequency‐Selective Surface Based on Hexagonal Grids

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation
This paper addresses the issue of achieving excellent overall performance for frequency selective surface (FSS) radomes. A dual‐layer frequency selective surface based on a hexagonal structure is proposed, which offers broadband suppression, roll‐off ...

Embedded Direct‐Written Organic Micro‐TEGs for High‐Efficiency Skin‐Heat Harvesting

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A finite‐element–guided design of direct‐written organic micro‐thermoelectric generators is presented for efficient skin‐heat harvesting. Embedding PEDOT:PSS/PBFDO thermoelectric legs within flexible substrates suppresses interfacial heat losses and enhances vertical heat flow.

Assessment of goose-beaked whale responses to mid-frequency active sonar using a hierarchical hidden Markov model

open access: yesMovement Ecology
Background Acoustic disturbance is increasingly recognized as an ecological concern, particularly at sea. In light of marine mammal stranding events associated with use of naval mid-frequency active sonar (MFAS), which often involve goose-beaked whales ...
