All‐Solution‐Processed HgTe Quantum Dot Photodetectors for Extended Short‐Wavelength Infrared Range Enhanced by Plasmonic ITO Nanocrystals

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
All‐solution‐processed, low‐cost extended short‐wavelength infrared photodetectors are realized by coupling colloidal HgTe quantum dots to plasmonic In2O3:Sn,F nanocrystals. Localized surface plasmon resonances boost and spectrally tailor light absorption between 1500 and 3000 nm, enabling responsivities above 40 A W−1.

3D Anodic Alumina Nanoarchitectures: A Decade of Progress from Foundational Science to Functional Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ordered three‐dimensional anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) nanoarchitectures with longitudinal and transverse pores enable architecture‐driven metamaterials. The review maps fabrication advances, including hybrid pulse anodization, and shows how 3D‐AAO templates tailor properties across magnetism, energy, catalysis, and sensing.

Peculiarities of the geological structure, mineral composition of the ores, and formation conditions of the Chulbatkan gold deposit, Khabarovsk Krai

open access: yesРуды и металлы
The article presents new data on the geological and structural features and mineral composition of the Chulbatkan gold deposit. Relationship between the tectonic and ore formational processes at the deposit is demonstrated: the ores are localized at ...

Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

Revealing the Nature of Chemical Bonding in an ALn2Ag3Te5-Type Alkaline-Metal (A) Lanthanide (Ln) Silver Telluride

open access: yesInorganics, 2019
Although the electronic structures of several tellurides have been recognized by applying the Zintl-Klemm concept, there are also tellurides whose electronic structures cannot be understood by applications of the aforementioned idea.

A record thermoelectric efficiency in tellurium-free modules for low-grade waste heat recovery

open access: yesNature Communications, 2022
Thermoelectric materials for low-grade heat recovery applications are limited to Bi2Te3-based alloys containing expensive Te for decades. Here, the authors demonstrate on a module level, cheap antimonides could enable an efficiency not inferior to that ...

Diorganyl tellurides as substrates in Sonogashira coupling reactions under mild conditions

open access: yes, 2019
A new method of Sonogashira coupling reactions between diorganyl tellurides and terminal alkynes is reported. The coupling reactions are performed using Pd(dppf)Cl2 as a catalyst, CuI as a co-catalyst in the presence of K2CO3 in DMSO.
