Performance Assessment of Oil-Immersed Cellulose Insulator Materials Using Time–Domain Spectroscopy under Varying Temperature and Humidity Conditions

open access: yesEnergies, 2020
The measurement of polarization and depolarization currents (PDC) based on time–domain response is an effective method for state assessment of cellulose insulation material in oil-immersed electrical equipment.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Sorption isotherm modelling of dried tomatoes

open access: yesCzech Journal of Food Sciences
The sorption isotherm (SI) of dried tomatoes was studied at three different temperatures, 15, 25, and 35 °C, using a static gravimetric method. The modified forms of the Guggenheim-Anderson-de Boer (mGAB), Halsey (mHAL), Henderson (mHEN), and Oswin (mOSW)

Normalization for FDS of Transformer Insulation Considering the Synergistic Effect Generated by Temperature and Moisture

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Frequency domain spectroscopy (FDS) technique is widely applied in the condition assessment of the oil-paper system in power transformers. However, the synergistic effect generated by moisture and temperature on the FDS data cannot be analyzed by the ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Effect of temperature on oil quality obtained through pyrolysis of sugarcane bagasse

open access: yes, 2020
The effect of temperature (300–650 °C) on the bio-oil quality and yields during pyrolysis of sugarcane bagasse was investigated. Results showed that temperature had a profound influence on the pyrolysis products’ yields and bio-oil quality.

The kinetics and mechanism of methanol oxidation on Pt and PtRu catalysts in alkaline and acid media [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 2007
The kinetic of methanol electrochemical oxidation for a series of platinum and platinum–ruthenium catalysts was investigated. A correlation between the beginning of OHad adsorption and methanol oxidation was demonstarated on Pt single crystals and Pt ...

A Technic for Ground Anchor Force Determination from Distributied Strain Using Fiber Optic OFDR Sensor with the Rejection of a Temperature Effect

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Anchor systems are widely used to stabilize soil slope and suppress slope failure. Thus, monitoring conditions of an anchor system is important to prevent disasters due to slope failure.
