Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Finite-temperature retarded and advanced fields [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1998
By employing retarded and advanced propagators, Aurenche and Becherrawy showed how to rewrite the real-time thermal Feynman rules so that the temperature dependence is removed from the free propagators and transferred to the vertices. The present paper introduces retarded and advanced field operators and incorporates all temperature dependence into the

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

Giant magnetic-field changes in radio-frequency absorption in La$_{0.67}$Sr$_{0.33}$MnO$_3$ near the Curie temperature

open access: yes, 2004
The DC transport properties of and the radio-frequency (RF) wave absorption (at 2.525 MHz) in a sample of La$_{0.67}$Sr$_{0.33}$MnO$_{3}$ prepared by floating-zone method are measured. The Curie temperature, $T_{c}$, of the sample is about 374 K.

Coexisting tuneable fractions of glassy and equilibrium long-range-order phases in manganites [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Antiferromagnetic-insulating(AF-I) and the ferromagnetic-metallic(FM-M) phases coexist in various half-doped manganites over a range of temperature and magnetic field, and this is often believed to be an essential ingredient to their colossal ...

Emerging role of ARHGAP29 in melanoma cell phenotype switching

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study gives first insights into the role of ARHGAP29 in malignant melanoma. ARHGAP29 was revealed to be connected to tumor cell plasticity, promoting a mesenchymal‐like, invasive phenotype and driving tumor progression. Further, it modulates cell spreading by influencing RhoA/ROCK signaling and affects SMAD2 activity. Rho GTPase‐activating protein

An Analytical Computation of Temperature Field Evolved in Directed Energy Deposition

open access: yesJournal of manufacturing science and engineering, 2018
This paper presents an analytical computation of temperature field evolved in a directed energy deposition process, using single-bead walls as illustrating examples. Essentially, the temperature field evolution during the deposition of a wall is computed
