Electromagnetic-thermal multi-physics coupling simulation of cable joints: considering contact resistance and typical defects

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research
As the “artery” of the urban power grid, high-voltage cables and their operating status are directly related to grid safety. Cable joint is a weak part of cable line prone to defects, leading to cable failure and jeopardizing the power supply reliability.

Numerical and Experimental Reconstruction of Temperature Distribution and Soot Concentration Field for Thin-Slice Flames Using a Charge Coupled Device Camera

open access: yesFire, 2023
This work proposed a novel model to simultaneously reconstruct temperature distribution and soot volume fraction field for two-dimensional thin-slice flames using the knowledge of monochromatic radiation intensities at two wavelengths using a CCD camera.

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Fire Effect and Performance of Bridge Pylon Columns under Construction

open access: yesFire, 2023
The fire effect and performance of bridge pylons under construction were investigated via an analysis conducted on two types of pylons with different wall thicknesses. Three fire scenarios, namely internal fire, external ring fire, and external side fire,

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

A New Multi-Physics Coupled Method for the Temperature Field of Dry Clutch Assembly

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
The temperature field of the clutch assembly is critical for the clutch design and operation life. Current modeling methods of the temperature of the clutch assembly suffer from insufficient accuracy or a limited time scale for the complicated multi ...

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Influence of angle adjustment of theoutlet blade on thermal comfort

open access: yesZhileng xuebao, 2020
The correct outlet blade angle can maximize the capacity of an air-conditioning system and effectively improve the flow field and temperature distribution in the car, thereby greatly improving the thermal comfort of passengers.
