Occurrence of Hysteresis like behavior of resistance of $Sb_2 Te_3$ film in heating-cooling cycle
Experimental observations of a peculiar behavior observed on heating and cooling ${\rm Sb_2Te_3}$ films at different heating and cooling rate are detailed. The film regained its original resistance, forming a closed loop, on the completion of the heating-

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Fourier's Law from Closure Equations
We give a rigorous derivation of Fourier's law from a system of closure equations for a nonequilibrium stationary state of a Hamiltonian system of coupled oscillators subjected to heat baths on the boundary.

Effects of Oil and Solid Body Temperatures on Elastohydrodynamic Lubrication Film Formation
The present study focuses on investigating the influence of oil and solid body temperatures on elastohydrodynamic lubrication (EHL) film formation. Experimental and numerical simulation methods are employed to examine three heating methods: oil and ball ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

A Test for Radial Mixing Using Local Star Samples
We use samples of local main-sequence stars to show that the radial gradient of [Fe/H] in the thin disk of the Milky Way decreases with mean effective stellar temperature.

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.
