High Sensitivity Terahertz Bolometers as Room Temperature Detectors
High sensitivity room temperature THz direct detectors made of YBa2Cu3O7-x nano-bridges, with a broadband optical coupling (0.1-2THz) are presented. An optical responsivity (RV) up to 45 V/W was measured at 400 GHz.

Iterative Synthesis of Pyrene–Coronene Molecular Graphene Nanoribbons
An iterative approach delivers a new family of undoped, cove‐edged graphene nanoribbons with lengths up to 9.1 nm that exhibit both molar absorptivity and fluorescence brightness values on the order of 105 M−1 cm−1 and an intrinsic charge‐carrier mobility of 475 ± 32 cm2 V−1 s−1.

Parasitic mixing in photomixers as continuous wave terahertz sources
We present observations of parasitic frequency components in the emission spectrum of typical photomixer sources for continuous wave (CW) terahertz generation. Broadband tunable photomixer systems are often used in combination with direct power detectors,

Polarisation-sensitive terahertz detectors
We have developed a detector of coherent terahertz (THz) radiation that can recover the full polarisation state of a THz transient. The device is a three-contact photoconductive receiver, which is capable of recording two time-varying electric field components of a THz pulse simultaneously.

Ultrastable Self‐Cross‐linkable Electro‐Optic Materials Based on a Bisanthracene Scaffold
A novel bisanthracene‐based self‐cross‐linkable electro‐optic chromophore (TD2) is developed. TD2 exhibits a high r33 of 141 pm/V and a cross‐linked Tg up to 195 °C, retaining 99.75% of its initial EO response after 500 h at 85 °C, showing record‐high thermal stability for single‐molecule self‐cross‐linking EO materials.

Diffractive Optics for GaN Terahertz Detectors Arrays
Fabrication and experimental tests of materials and optics for Terahertz range used in field effect transistor detectors arrays are described. The method using diffractive optics, fabricated in 3D printing technology, was used for tests with GaN/AIGaN ...
