ABSTRACT Heterotopic pregnancy, though rare, should be suspected in early pregnancy with abdominal pain or bleeding, even when an intrauterine pregnancy is confirmed. Prompt transvaginal ultrasound and timely laparoscopic management are essential to prevent life‐threatening complications and preserve the intrauterine pregnancy.
