Solar and Interplanetary Particles Re-Accelerated at the Solar Wind Termination Shock [PDF]
We consider the acceleration of solar/interplanetary particles at the solar wind termination shock, predict the expected composition and energy spectra, and discuss possible observable ...

Secreted Nonstructural Protein 3 is a Pathogenic Determinant of Orbivirus
This study uncovers a conserved PIP2‐dependent secretory pathway of orbivirus NS3 that induces vascular leakage. Pharmacological disruption of PIP2‐NS3 interaction significantly reduces viral pathogenicity and provides protective efficacy in murine models, establishing PIP2‐mediated NS3 secretion as both a key virulence determinant and a promising ...

Predictions for New Horizons’ SWAP Measurements Downstream of the Heliospheric Termination Shock
Currently ∼62 au from the Sun, the New Horizons spacecraft is en route to the outer heliosphere boundaries. The first boundary it will encounter is the heliospheric termination shock (HTS), where the solar wind ion (SWI) and interstellar pickup ion (PUI)

Dual priming with minocycline and photodynamic priming reprograms the pancreatic tumor microenvironment to overcome chemoresistance. By suppressing DNA repair enzyme Tdp1, inducing photooxidative damage, and enhancing irinotecan delivery via light‐activated nanoencapsulation, this strategy remodels the tumor microenvironment and drives immune ...

An injectable PACmC hydrogel with “rigid island‐flexible chain” architecture is developed, featuring low swelling (49.2% within 7 d), strong wet adhesion (46.5 kPa), and high burst pressure (701 mm Hg), which can achieve rapid hemostasis and long‐term sealing in rabbit and porcine models of hepatic and splenic hemorrhage.

The Physical Significance of 'Shifted' Gradients and the Location of the Solar Wind Termination Shock [PDF]
We use observations of anomalous cosmic-ray (ACR) oxygen from the cosmic-ray experiments on the Voyager 2 (V2) and Pioneer IO (PIO) spacecraft during 1985-1988 to investigate the physical significance of the "shifted" radial gradient The "shifted ...

Interstellar Pickup Ion Observations to 60 au
Prior to the Solar Wind Around Pluto (SWAP) observations from New Horizons, the only significant interstellar pickup ion (PUI) observations were taken inside 5.4 au from the Ulysses and 1 au missions.

Current technologies for spinal cord optogenetic stimulation rely on external power sources and face reliability constraints in freely behaving animals. Here, a fully implantable, battery‐powered optoelectronic device is introduced, enabling operation in any selected environment with wireless recharging for months‐long stimulation.
