B-ternary logic based asynchronous micropipeline
Proceedings 1999 29th IEEE International Symposium on Multiple-Valued Logic (Cat. No.99CB36329), 2003In this paper, a B-ternary logic based asynchronous pipeline is presented. The pipeline processes binary dates elastically. It has high speed operation potential an spite of having an idle phase, because the stages of the pipeline operate concurrently. The mechanism for correct pipeline behavior and the designed circuits are provided.

Ternary logic and mass quantum numbers
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2010Koide’s prediction of the tau mass may be formulated as a condition on the three eigenvalues of a quantum Fourier series, using simple parameters, and similar triplets have been found for neutrino and hadron masses [2]. Assuming these parameters arise from quantum gravity, one would like to understand them from the more abstract context of category ...

Ternary circuits for Null Convention Logic
The 2011 International Conference on Computer Engineering & Systems, 2011Null Convention Logic (NCL) adds a control value (NULL i.e., DATA not valid) to its Boolean set to create a symbolically complete logic system that is inherently self determined, locally autonomous, self synchronizing and delay insensitive. NCL circuits typically employ a dual-rail binary scheme to represent these three levels.

Efficient Ternary Logic Circuits Optimized by Ternary Arithmetic Algorithms
IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in ComputingMulti-valued logic (MVL) circuits, especially the ternary logic circuits, have attracted great attention in recent years due to their higher information density than binary logic systems. However, the basic construction method for MVL circuit standard cells and the CMOS fabrication possibility/compatibility issues are still to be addressed.

Gödelian Ternary Logic (GTL): A Logic Embedding Incompleteness
This paper introduces Gödelian Ternary Logic (GTL), a three-valued system where the third truth value D (Dao) formally embodies Gödel’s first incompleteness theorem. Unlike traditional ternary logics where the third value denotes ”unknown” or ”undefined”, D intrinsically represents statements that are true in the standard model but unprovable within ...Golikov, Andrey, DeepSeek (China)

Ternary logic in digital computers
Proceedings of the SHARE design automation project on - DAC '65, 1965Although the states as well as the number representation of virtually every digital computer are implemented for the most part with binary logic, there are other systems such as the ternary or quinary that could just as well be used. The choice of which logic system to use should be determined primarily on the basis of cost, reliability, and operating ...

Synthesis Techniques for Ternary Quantum Logic
2011 41st IEEE International Symposium on Multiple-Valued Logic, 2011Synthesis of ternary quantum circuits involves basic ternary gates and logic operations in the ternary quantum domain. Works that define ternary algebra and their applications for ternary quantum logic realization, are very few. In this paper, we express a ternary logic function in terms of projection operations including a new one.

Ternary Logic - Quantum Matrices
This work proves the math for a software I created based on these priciples and underlying math. My other paper - DOI:10.5281/zenodo.16896205 - proves these can be applied to our holographic universe theories.openaire +1 more source
Systems and Computers in Japan, 2003
AbstractMultiple‐valued logic functions using only AND, OR, and NOT as operators are called Kleenean functions. They were actively studied in Japan beginning in the early 1990s. Previously, regular ternary logic functions corresponding to the ambiguous state in which the truth value 1/2 is neither 0 nor 1 were defined in ternary logic; but regular ...

Swhched-current CMOS ternary logic circuits
International Journal of Electronics, 1995Abstract A new switched-current CMOS ternary logic family is presented. Circuit descriptions of the basic gates (inverters, NAND, and NOR) are presented and their performance characteristics are evaluated using SPICE simulations. The results obtained indicate that the proposed circuits have good noise margins of about 15% of the power supply voltage ...
