B-ternary logic and evaluation of binary logic programs
[1988] Proceedings. The Eighteenth International Symposium on Multiple-Valued Logic, 1988A kind of ternary logic function called ternary-extended-from-binary (TEB) logic function is introduced, its relationship to previously studied B-ternary logic is mentioned, and its relationship to the evaluation of binary logic functions is studied. A method of evaluating binary logic functions using TEB-ternary functions is proposed.

B-ternary logic based asynchronous micropipeline
Proceedings 1999 29th IEEE International Symposium on Multiple-Valued Logic (Cat. No.99CB36329), 2003In this paper, a B-ternary logic based asynchronous pipeline is presented. The pipeline processes binary dates elastically. It has high speed operation potential an spite of having an idle phase, because the stages of the pipeline operate concurrently. The mechanism for correct pipeline behavior and the designed circuits are provided.

High-performance ternary logic gates for nanoelectronics
International Journal of High Performance Systems Architecture, 2015This paper presents high-performance ternary buffer STB, minimum STMin and maximum STMax circuits using carbon nanotube field effect transistors CNTFETs. Multiple valued logic MVL has been introduced to overcome the complexity and interconnection problems of the binary integrated circuits.

An efficient synthesis method for ternary reversible logic
