Loss of STARD7 Triggers Metabolic Reprogramming and Cell Cycle Arrest in Breast Cancer
Breast cancer cells undergo metabolic and transcriptomic reprogramming to support aberrant cell proliferation. Their mitochondria rely on the transfer of phosphatidylcholine from the endoplasmic reticulum to their membranes by STARD7, a candidate upregulated in breast cancer, to be functional.

Prognostic factors in seminomas with special respect to HCG: Results of a prospective multicenter study [PDF]
Objective: In a prospective multicenter trial, it was our intention to elucidate clinical prognostic factors of seminomas with special reference to the importance of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) elevations in histologically pure seminomas. Methods:

Seminoma metastasized to the prostate: A case report and literature review
The testicular seminomas are germ-cell tumors which account for approximately 50% of all testicular tumors. Most primary testicular germ cell tumors metastasize through a lymphatic system in a predictable pattern with the retroperitoneal lymph nodes ...

MicroRNA and transcription factor co-regulatory networks and subtype classification of seminoma and non-seminoma in testicular germ cell tumors [PDF]
Recent studies have revealed that feed-forward loops (FFLs) as regulatory motifs have synergistic roles in cellular systems and their disruption may cause diseases including cancer.

Clinical presentation, management and follow-up of 83 patients with Leydig cell tumors of the testis: a prospective case-cohort study [PDF]
LCTs are more frequent than generally believed, are associated with male infertility, cryptorchidism and gynecomastia, and should be treated conservatively (in compliant patients) with active surveillance, which appears to be a safe alternative to ...
