Cooperative Solvent‐Thermal Interactions Enable Multi‐Material Nanotransfer Printing for Multi‐Dimensional Molecular Profiling

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Cooperative solvent‐thermal nanotransfer printing (ST‐nTP) exploits the synergistic interplay between solvent‐induced polymer swelling and thermal‐pressure‐driven densification to achieve selective material transfer, enabling scalable single‐step fabrication of 3D hierarchical multi‐material nanoarchitectures with sub‐20 nm resolution for tunable ...

THE INFLUENCE OF Si/Al MOLE RATIO OF PRECURSOR SOLUTION ON THE STRUCTURAL PROPERTIES OF MCM-41 FROM FLY ASH

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Chemistry, 2010
The synthesis of MCM-41 from fly ash was done hydrothermally at 100°C for 72 hours using supernatant of fly ash solution, sodium silicate, tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAOH) and cetyltrimethyl-ammonium hydroxide (CTMAOH) surfactants.

Reconfiguration of Localized Ruthenium Surface via Incorporating Single Platinum Atoms for Favorable Hydrogen Oxidation Catalysis

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
The introduction of a Pt single atom changes the Ru surface structure and results in the reconstruction of the active sites for hydrogen and CO oxidation catalysis. With a Pt loading of only 1 wt.%, RuPtSA exhibited superior HOR activity and resistance to impurities compared to commercial Pt catalysts in both acid and alkaline electrolytes.

Inedible cellulose-based biomass resist material amenable to water-based processing for use in electron beam lithography

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2015
An electron beam (EB) lithography method using inedible cellulose-based resist material derived from woody biomass has been successfully developed. This method allows the use of pure water in the development process instead of the conventionally used ...

Tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH) treatment of dry-etched trenches on (010) β-Ga2O3 to enhance trench profiles [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Advances
We demonstrated heated tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH) etching (25 wt. % concentration, at 90 °C) as an effective post-dry-etch treatment for improving dry-etched trench profiles on (010) β-Ga2O3. This treatment successfully converted rough, tapered

Hydrothermal‐Assisted In Situ Intercalation Synthesis of Ti3C2Tx MXene in 6 Hours

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
This work presents a rapid, scalable strategy for synthesizing Ti3C2Tx MXene through hydrothermal‐assisted etching with in situ intercalation, achieving complete synthesis and delamination within 6 h at 90°C. The process accelerates aluminum removal, promotes efficient delamination, and enables direct exfoliation under mild conditions, producing high ...

Addressing Reproducibility of MXene Synthesis Using Electrochemical and Chemical Treatment of Ti3AlC2 With Tetramethylammonium Hydroxide

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
MXene synthesis by etching Ti3AlC2 with tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAOH) is shown to be reproducible if the passivation layer on the surface of crystallites is broken by rigorous grinding of the precursor powder. Widely cited as electrochemical, etching of Ti3AlC2 in aqueous NH4Cl/TMAOH (0.2 M) electrolyte is likely to yield MXene mostly due to ...
