Nitroimino-tetrazolates and Oxy-nitroimino-tetrazolates

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2010
Highly energetic 1,1'-ethylenebis(oxy)bis(5-nitroimino-tetrazolate) salts were obtained by reacting equimolar quantities of the acidic 1,1'-ethylenebis(oxy)bis(5-nitroimino-tetrazole) and energetic bases in aqueous solution. Additionally, metathesis of silver 1,1'-ethylenebis(oxy)bis(5-nitroimino-tetrazolate) with diaminoguanidinium chloride or ...

Relation between the substituent effect and aromaticity in tetrazoles, protonated tetrazoles and tetrazolate derivatives

Journal of Molecular Structure: THEOCHEM, 2007
Abstract The energies, geometries and aromaticity of a series of 5R tetrazoles [R = NH 2 , OH, OCH 3 , SCH 3 , H, CH 3 , F, Cl, BH 2 , CF 3 , CN, NO, NO 2 ], their anions and protonated forms in the gas phase have been calculated with the DFT/B3LYP method at the 6-31++G ∗∗ level.

Tetrazoles: XLVII. A route to tetrazole-containing dendrimers

Russian Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2004
The reaction of 5-methylsulfonyl-1-phenyltetrazole with pentaerythritol in acetonitrile in the presence of sodium hydroxide gave tetrakis(1-phenyltetrazol-5-yloxymethyl)methane. Sulfur-containing analog of the latter was obtained by alkylation of 1-phenyl-4,5-dihydrotetrazole-5-thione with 1,3-dibromo-2,2-bis-(bromomethyl)propane.

Tetrazoles: XLV. Amidoalkylation of 5-Substituted Tetrazoles

Russian Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2003
Amidoalkylation of 5-aryl(hetaryl)tetrazoles with N-hydroxymethylamides of aliphatic and aromatic carboxylic acids occurs regioselectively and yields mainly 5-aryl(hetaryl)-2-acylaminomethyltetrazoles. These compounds arefairly stable in neutral media but are smoothly deprotected by the action of aqueous sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid.
