FAAS determination of thallium after preconcentration using nitroso-S and TDBA onto benzophenone
Thallium is quantitatively retained by 2-nitroso-1-naphthol-4-sulfonic acid (nitroso-S) and tetradecyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride (TDBA) onto benzophenone in the pH range 10.0-11.5 from large volumes of aqueous solutions of various samples.

Fiber Bragg Gratings with Micro‐Engineered Temperature Coefficients
Fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) are intrinsically responsive to temperature and strain simultaneously. In this research, low‐loss FBGs with micro‐engineered temperature coefficients are fabricated, utilizing refractive index liquid‐filled microchannels in the cladding.

Interfacial Assembly of Dye‐Doped Microparticles Driven by Combined Optical and Non‐Optical Forces
Optical trapping controls nano‐ and microparticle assembly using various forces, including absorption for photoexcitable resonant molecules. This study demonstrates photoexcitation‐mediated assembly, forming hexagonal‐close‐packed structures at the air/solution interface.
