Effect of Overheating Temperature on Thermal Cycling Creep Properties of K465 Superalloy
Turbine blades in aircraft engines may encounter overheating and suffer serious creep property degradation. In this study, the thermal cycling creep experiments were conducted on K465 superalloy under (900 °C/30 min–1100 °C/3 min)/50 MPa, (900 °C/30 min ...

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Reliability of Substrate Solder Joints from Power Cycling Tests
The lifetime of the solder joint between base plate and ceramic substrate is usually tested by passively heating and cooling the IGBT module (thermal cycling). This provokes failures (delamination) in that solder layer.

Open-Hole Size and Thermal Cycling Effects on Mass Loss and Surface Degradation of Polymer Matrix Composites [PDF]
Degradation is a common problem for polymer matrix composites (PMCs) under low thermal cycling conditions. This paper investigates the effects of low thermal cycling on total mass loss (TML) and surface degradation of PMCs.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Improving the cycle fatigue life of spring steel by a novel thermal cycling process
A novel thermal cycling process was applied on the 65Mn spring to improve the cycle fatigue life. Results demonstrate that the cycle fatigue life after the thermal cycling process was improved from 3 times to 14 times, with an improvement of 470%.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...
