Thermal transformation of drilling sludge: Structural and surface changes [PDF]
The study investigates the structural and surface changes occurring in carbonate drilling sludge (CDS) of oil-based origin under high-temperature pyrolysis. The main focus is placed on the transformation of the organo-mineral system using IR spectroscopy,

This study explores the feasibility of expressing the antitumoral protein Amblyomin‐X through a suicide gene therapy approach and investigates its intracellular fate after gene delivery. Although the gene is efficiently expressed, melanoma cells rapidly degrade the Amblyomin‐X protein via proteasome activity.

Time to failure prediction in rubber components subjected to thermal ageing: A combined approach based upon the intrinsic defect concept and the fracture mechanics [PDF]
In this contribution, we attempt to derive a tool allowing the prediction of the stretch ratioat failure in rubber components subjected to thermal ageing.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

The influence of oxidative-thermal degradation of polypropylene on measured interface strength of glass fibre-polypropylene [PDF]
It was previously found that thermal-oxidative degradation of the polypropylene could significantly affect the measured interfacial strength of glass fibre reinforced polypropylene (GF-PP) micro-composite.

Thermal degradation mechanism and rate constants of the thermal degradation of poly(epichlorohydrin-co-ethylene oxide), deduced from pyrolysis-GC-MS studies [PDF]
The thermal degradation mechanism and kinetic parameters for the overall degradation for the poly(epichlorohydrin-co-ethylene oxide) elastomer have been investigated by pyrolysis-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (pyrolysis-GC-MS) techniques.

Thermal Degradation of Green Asparagus Texture
A cutting cell was developed to evaluate the texture of green asparagus by measuring its resistance to being cut with a wire. The cell was used in conjunction with a universal texturometer and improved on the single-point method of the Wilder fibrometer.

Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs
