Thermal Green's Functions from Quantum Mechanical Path Integrals
In this paper it is shown how the generating functional for Green's functions in relativistic quantum field theory and in thermal field theory can be evaluated in terms of a standard quantum mechanical path integral.

The study presents biodegradable and recyclable mixed‐matrix membranes (MMMs), hydrogels, and cryogels using luminescent nanoscale metal‐organic frameworks (nMOFs) and biopolymers. These bio‐nMOF‐MMMs combine europium‐based nMOFs as probes for the status of the materials with the biopolymers agar and gelatine and present alternatives to conventional ...

Zinc(II) coordination complexes with tunable aryloxy‐imine ligands exhibit controllable supramolecular self‐assembly into hierarchical fibrous structures. Coordination‐driven stacking, not π–π interactions, enables gelation, dynamic assembly/disassembly, and enhanced nanomechanical properties.

Modular invariance and thermal effective field theory in CFT
We use thermal effective field theory to derive that the coefficient of the first subleading piece of the thermal free energy, c 1, is equal to the coefficient of the subleading piece of the Casimir energy on S 1 × S d−2 for d ≥ 4.

A 3D bone scaffold with osteogenic properties and capable of hardening in vivo is developed. The scaffold is implanted in a ductile state, and a phase transformation of the ceramic induces the stiffening and strengthening of the scaffold in vivo. Abstract Calcium phosphate 3D printing has revolutionized customized bone grafting.
