Thermal Resistance of Aeromonas hydrophila

open access: yesJournal of Food Protection, 1987
Thermal resistance of five strains of Aeromonas hydrophila (three clinical and two food isolates) was studied at 45 to 51°C in saline solution and raw milk. In addition, effects of growth temperature and growth phase on thermal resistance of the cells were also studied.

Thermal Behavior of Tropical Sea Cucumber of Isostichopus isabellae: Preliminary Issues

open access: yesAnimals
We investigated the growth, preferences, and thermal resistance of the sea cucumber Isostichopus isabellae to understand its thermal biology. Sixty individuals were kept in tanks at two temperatures (23 °C and 26 °C) for 30 days to determine their ...

Ohm's law revision [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
The standard ohmic measurements by means of two extra leads contain an additional thermal correction to resistance. The current results in heating(cooling) at first(second) sample contact due to Peltier effect.

Model of Complex Heat Transfer in the Package of Rectangular Steel Sections

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
During heat treatment of rectangular steel sections, a heated charge in the form of regularly arranged packages is placed in a furnace. The article presents a model of a complex heat transfer in such a package using the thermo-electric analogy. The model
