Educational Interventions to Prepare Undergraduate Students for Out‐of‐Hours Practice as a Newly Qualified Doctor in the United Kingdom: A Scoping Review

open access: yesThe Clinical Teacher, Volume 23, Issue 1, February 2026.

Strenuous Exercise Alters Brain Creatine and Glutamate/Glutamine (Glx) in Humans: Evidence From Dynamic 1H‐MRS and 1H‐MRSI

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 2, 31 January 2026.
Strenuous exercise induces transient, region‐specific neurochemical changes in the human brain. Dynamic proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H‐MRS) and spectroscopic imaging (1H‐MRSI) revealed reductions in total creatine (tCr), and elevations in glutamate/glutamine (Glx), and lactate (Lac) in frontal and parietal brain regions.

Accessing the impact of harvest weights of Tenebrio molitor on amino acid digestibility and metabolizable energy in cecectomized laying hens

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, Volume 106, Issue 1, Page 665-674, 15 January 2026.
Abstract BACKGROUND The effects of harvest weights on composition, amino acid (AA) digestibility and metabolizable energy (MEN) of Tenebrio molitor (TM) were investigated using cecectomized laying hens. The partially defatted and dried TM variants comprised median individual frass‐free harvest weights of 60, 80, 100, and 120 mg of larvae, and a pupae ...

Chemical Characterization and Allelopathic Effects of Ambrosia psilostachya (Asteraceae)

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Ambrosia spp. have been introduced and distributed across different continents as an invasive alien plant species. The present study aimed to identify the chemical components of essential oil isolated from different parts of Ambrosia psilostachya and evaluate the phytotoxic effect of its aqueous extracts on the growth parameters of Phaseolus ...

Beyond Oral Pain: A Unique Case of Burning Mouth Syndrome With Coexisting Vulvodynia and Cognitive Impairment in a Postmenopausal Woman

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Burning mouth syndrome (BMS) is a chronic pain condition characterized by persistent intraoral burning without an identifiable cause, predominantly affecting postmenopausal women. We present a unique case of a 63‐year‐old Ethiopian woman exhibiting a distinctive triad of BMS, vulvodynia, and progressive cognitive decline, an association not ...
