From Synthesis to Therapeutics: Bioactive‐Coated Zein Nanoparticles in Drug Delivery
ABSTRACT Polymeric zein nanoparticles (ZNP), derived from corn protein, are biodegradable drug carriers with high stability and low synthesis costs. Their amphiphilic nature allows efficient encapsulation of both hydrophilic and lipophilic drugs, making them promising for drug delivery.

State-Selective Metabolic Labeling of Cellular Proteins [PDF]
Transcriptional activity from a specified promoter can provide a useful marker for the physiological state of a cell. Here we introduce a method for selective tagging of proteins made in cells in which specified promoters are active.

Abstract BACKGROUND The effects of harvest weights on composition, amino acid (AA) digestibility and metabolizable energy (MEN) of Tenebrio molitor (TM) were investigated using cecectomized laying hens. The partially defatted and dried TM variants comprised median individual frass‐free harvest weights of 60, 80, 100, and 120 mg of larvae, and a pupae ...

Incorporating rice bran in ready‐to‐use therapeutic foods (RUTFs) was used for treatment of childhood malnutrition. RUTF nutrient analysis showed increased dietary fiber and vitamins E and B1. Non‐targeted metabolomics revealed significant changes in lipids, amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, and phytochemicals corresponding to rice bran.
