Thiazine, Antibiotic, Bilirubin Adducts

Xenobiotica, 1989
1. Electron charge transfer interactions of some phenothiazine derivatives with aminoglycoside antibiotics, beta-lactams and penicillin-related antibiotics and bilirubin were investigated with alternating current titrations. 2. Neither the beta-lactams nor penicillin-related drugs interacted. 3.

Multicomponent Synthesis of Dihydropyrimidines and Thiazines

Chemistry – A European Journal, 2006
AbstractA broad range of differently substituted dihydropyrimidines and thiazines can be efficiently prepared by using a four‐component reaction between phosphonates, nitriles, aldehydes, and iso(thio)cyanates. The scope and limitations of this multicomponent reaction are fully described. Variation of all four components has been investigated.

1,3-Thiazines

1990
Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the monocyclic thiazines and their functionalized derivatives. The sp 3 -hybridized saturated carbon bearing the extra hydrogen was indicated by a number placed after those for the heteroatoms. Hence, 2H-1,3-thiazine was named 1,3,2-thiazine. The chapter discusses the synthesis of 1,3-thiazines.

Synthesis of 4H-thiazines

Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds, 2016
Thiazines represent an important class of heterocyclic compounds due to their valuable biological properties. For example, some derivatives of thiazine are cannabinoid receptor agonists, also they can act as an antihypotensive, antitubercular, and antibacterial agents.
