Single‐Chromophore Homojunction Organic Solar Cells: A Path to Simplicity and Efficiency
This perspective discusses how the intrinsic optoelectronic properties of organic semiconductors, their molecular packing in the solid‐state, and internal energetic gradients within a device can enable free‐charge carrier generation in homojunction organic solar cells.

Label free colorimetric sensing of thiocyanate based on inducing aggregation of Tween 20-stabilized gold nanoparticles [PDF]
Based on inducing the aggregation of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs), a simple colorimetric method with high sensitivity and selectivity was developed for the sensing of thiocyanate (SCN-) in aqueous solutions.

The respective roles of the heterojunction (HJ) and spontaneously formed photo‐charge (SP) channels in low‐donor‐content devices have been decoupled and subjected to a targeted optimization strategy. A breakthrough of light utilization efficiency (LUE) in semi‐transparent organic solar cells (ST‐OSCs) is achieved.

The introduction of high‐sublimation‐temperature additives during the mechanosynthesis of FAPbI3 powders enables the single‐source evaporation of phase‐pure, additive‐free FAPbI3 thin films of high optoelectronic quality. The additive‐engineered deposition process yields photovoltaic devices with stabilized efficiencies exceeding 18% for an active ...

The crystal structure of urea nitrate [PDF]
The structure of urea nitrate has been solved, by the use of three-dimensional X-ray data. Data were collected using Cu Ke and Mo K0~ radiations. The structure consists of layers with urea and nitrate groups held together by hydrogen bonds. The positions
