Copper Contact for Perovskite Solar Cells: Properties, Interfaces, and Scalable Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
Copper electrodes, as low‐cost, scalable contacts for perovskite solar cells, offer several advantages over precious metals such as Au and Ag, including performance, cost, deposition methods, and interfacial engineering. Copper (Cu) electrodes are increasingly considered practical, sustainable alternatives to noble‐metal contacts in perovskite solar ...

Otto Billeter or How the Oldest [3,3]-Sigmatropic Rearrangement Went to Neuchâtel Otto Billeter oder wie die älteste [3,3]-sigmatrope Umlagerung nach Neuenburg kam: Teil1

open access: yesCHIMIA, 1999
A historical study on the early chemistry of organic isothiocyanates (mustard oil) and thiocyanates (rhodanides) is presented. The isomeric structures of these compounds were settled by the famous investigations of August Wilhelm Hofmann ...

Comparison of Pre‐ and Postoperative Gut Microbiota Diversity in Patients With Rectal Cancer Undergoing Stoma Creation and Closure

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
We investigated the impact of temporary stoma creation and closure on gut microbiota diversity in rectal cancer patients. 16S rRNA sequencing revealed that microbial diversity significantly decreased postoperatively in the stoma group but remained stable in non‐stoma patients.

Chemical communication with volatile semiochemicals in Phyllotreta species (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae): a minireview

open access: yesInternational Journal of Horticultural Science, 2005
Phyllotreta species (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae, Halticinae) rank among the most important horticultural pests in the Northern Hemisphere. Leaf damage caused by flea beetles upsets the water balance, blocks plant growth and sometimes causes a high level ...

Recombinant expression of Thermosynechococcus elongatus BP-1 glutathione S-transferase in Arabidopsis thaliana: an efficient tool for phytoremediation of thiocyanate

open access: yesBiotechnology & Biotechnological Equipment, 2020
Large-scale production of thiocyanate (SCN-) for industrial purposes has led to widespread environmental pollution by this compound. Thiocyanate (SCN-) is toxic for humans and recalcitrant to biological oxygenation and hydrolysis.
