Aging and Electrical Stability of DNTT Honey‐Gated OFETs
DNTT honey‐gated organic transistors were fabricated and evaluated to assess short‐ and long‐term stability under electrical stress and aging. Short‐term transfer measurements (five days, 40 sweeps/day) showed minimal parameter shift, while extended measurements revealed gradual degradation over weeks.

Conformational Heterogeneity in Large Macrocyclic Thiophenes
For conjugated macrocycles, conformational disorder plays a key role in determining whether the unique form of excitons that are fully delocalized over the cyclic framework (cyclic excitons) is formed by photoexcitation.

Dearomative Intramolecular (4+3) Cycloadditions of Thiophenes
Unexpectedly facile dearomative intramolecular (4+3) cycloadditions of thiophenes with epoxy enolsilanes, providing sulfur-bridged cycloadducts, are reported. A total of fifteen thiophene substrates have been found to undergo (4+3) cycloaddition smoothly

Electroactive polymers from β-substituted thiophenes [PDF]
The work reported in this thesis can be broken down into three main areas. The first describes the synthesis of a series of β-substituted thiophenes bearing long, lipophilic chains (either ether, polyether or amido in nature).

Pd-Catalyzed β‑Selective Direct C–H Bond Arylation of Thiophenes with Aryltrimethylsilanes
Direct arylation of thiophenes and benzothiophenes with aryltrimethylsilanes was effectively catalyzed by PdCl2(MeCN)2 in the presence of CuCl2 as an oxidant.
