Thiourea - Lanthanide Acetate Complexes [PDF]
Complexes between thiourea and lanthanide acetates were prepared of the general composition. Dihydrated thiourea complexes are isomorphous; monohydrates are also isomorphous, but with a different structure from the dihydrates.

We describe a coformer selection tool that uses knowledge of functional group interactions found in the Cambridge Structural Database to quickly identify complementary molecules to the target.A new methodology to perform virtual coformer screening, utilising data gathered on hydrogen‐bonding interactions present in the organic subset of the Cambridge ...

ABSTRACT Background The tight junction protein CLDN6 has been identified as a cancer‐associated cell surface marker that is rarely expressed in healthy tissues. In testicular germ cell tumors (GCT), CLDN6 is particularly detectable in seminomas, embryonal carcinomas, and choriocarcinomas.

Untargeted multiomic profiling of cerebrospinal fluid reveals that proteomic, but not lipidomic, signatures robustly distinguish ALS patients from controls and stratify individuals by survival, highlighting marked molecular differences between short survival and long survival disease.

A noncanonical role for Jagged1 in endothelial mechanotransduction
This study reveals a noncanonical role for Jagged1 in endothelial mechanotransduction. Shear stress modulates Jagged1 expression and subcellular localization. Loss of Jagged1 attenuates mechanotransduction and reduces Src, VEGFR2, and ERK signaling. Direct mechanical stimulation of Jagged1 induces activation of these signaling pathways.

Physiological media and oxygen levels modulate cancer hallmarks in cultured breast cancer cells
MCF7 breast cancer cells were cultured in standard conditions (18% O2 and DMEM) and physiological conditions (5% O2 and Plasmax, a medium modeled after the human plasma metabolome). A combined transcriptomic and proteomic approach was used to identify gene expression signatures at the mRNA and protein levels upstream of functional enrichment analyses ...

Abstract figure legend The genetic inactivation of one Mcu allele leads to sex‐specific changes in neuronal function in adult mice, that is, the firing of action potentials and the relationship between cytosolic and mitochondrial Ca2+ levels. The ability to produce NAD(P)H by stimulated neural tissue is largely preserved in male mice but delayed in ...

Electrochemical oxidation of gold and thiourea in acidic thiourea solutions
The dissolution of gold in acidic thiourea solutions, together with the oxidation of thioureu on gold, platinum, and glassy carbon (GC) electrodes, has been investigated using voltammetric methods.
