Emerging Device Applications From Strong Light–Matter Interactions in 2D Materials
Two‐dimensional semiconductors enable extremely compact optoelectronic devices such as solar cells, sensors, LEDs, and lasers. Their strong light–matter interactions allow efficient light emission, detection, and energy conversion. This review article discusses the recent progress in integrating these materials with optical cavities and nanostructures ...

Chiral gem‐dicyano‐spirocyclopropyl oxindoles are obtained by a chiral N‐9‐Anth‐PyBidine‐Co(OAc)2‐catalyzed asymmetric Michael/alkylation reaction of 3‐chlorooxindoles with alkylidenemalononitriles. The three‐component coupling reaction of 3‐chlorooxindoles, aldehydes, and malononitrile shows the advantage of not requiring the preparation of ...

Effects of Miracle Fruit Doses on Modifying the Tastes of Solutions and Foods: A Pilot Study
ABSTRACT Miracle fruit (Synsepalum dulcificum) contains miraculin, a glycoprotein that binds to sweet taste receptors under acidic conditions, temporarily altering taste perception. However, the dose‐dependent effects of miracle fruit across different tastes remain underexplored.

Edible Qualities and Flavor Omics of Peanut‐Soybean Dajiang
Dajiang is a fermented beans‐based condiment that is widely popular in Northeast China. In this study, peanut‐soybean Dajiang was successfully prepared by adding peanut to the Dajiang production process and optimizing the fermentation conditions. It was found that the addition of peanuts significantly enhanced the umami, saltiness and compound taste of
