Pyrolysis of FeOx/g‐C3N4 and ZIF‐8 is performed to introduce Fe single atom and pyridinic nitrogen vacancies onto N‐doped carbon. This modification enables the materials to efficiently extract electrons from ciprofloxacin (CIP) and activate dissolved oxygen. 100% of CIP was degraded within 1 min without adding any oxidant.

The formation of Cd(II) complexes with alkyl thioureas $(Tu=H_2NCSNH_2, CH_3Tu, C_2H_5Tu, C_4H_9Tu)$ has been studied in aqueous solution. Basing on CV and polarographic results the 2-electrons reversible mechanism was assigned.

New ylides of two different types were prepared by reaction of 2‐iodosylbenzenesulfonic acid with the corresponding 1,3‐cyclohexanediones under acidic or basic conditions. These compounds have a typical for iodonium ylides structure with the CIC angles 94.18° –97.25° and the IC bond distances between 2.08 and 2.13 Å.
