Abstract Purpose The presence of a sinus tract in chronic periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) has traditionally been considered a contraindication to single‐stage total knee arthroplasty (TKA) revision. Revision ACL reconstruction using a modified iliotibial band–allograft technique for combined ACL and lateral extra‐articular procedure achieves comparable outcomes to bone–patellar tendon–bone with modified Lemaire

Abstract Purpose In revision anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (R‐ACLR), adding a lateral extra‐articular procedure (LEAP) reduces graft failure and postoperative laxity. Iliotibial band (ITB)‐based techniques may avoid patellar tendon harvesting morbidity, but evidence in adults, particularly in revision cases, remains limited.

Multi‐Frequency Electrocochleography Results in Fewer Drop Alarms During Cochlear Implant Insertion

A novel multi‐frequency electrocochleography (ECochG) algorithm used during cochlear implant electrode insertion is associated with fewer drop alarms and an increase in optimal insertion track patterns. Multi‐frequency ECochG may provide a more accurate assessment of the cochlear microenvironment when compared to single‐frequency ECochG.

Abstract Cancer treatment is far from optimal also because current classification systems do not reflect the complex molecular status of the tumor and its phenotype in sufficient detail. To construct molecular tumor classifiers, omics tools provide complex molecular data reflecting many aspects from genotype to phenotype.
