The near‐complete genome assembly of Reynoutria multiflora reveals the genetic basis of stilbene and anthraquinone biosynthesis

In this study, we reported a near‐complete genome assembly of Reynoutria multiflora and characterized its evolution in Polygonaceae. Combining transcriptomic and metabolomic analyses, we also revealed accumulation patterns and biosynthesis pathways of anthraquinone and stilbene in different growing years. Our results provide a valuable genomic resource
