Autodécomposition de thymidine tritiée en solution aqueuse

open access: yes, 2017
Les auteurs ont étudié, par chromatographie sur papier, les produits de décomposition formés, à 4 °C, dans une solution vieillie de thymidine tritiée.

Transgenic selection and underlying mechanisms in apicomplexan parasites

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Transgenic selection markers have driven genetic engineering in apicomplexans, enabling precise, iterative experiments. This review discusses mechanistic details of drug selection markers, strategies for marker recycling, and practical considerations for several clinically relevant parasites.

Toxicologic effects of a high dose of thymidine in mice

open access: yes, 1980
The pharmacologic effects and plasma concentrations produced by the ip administration of high doses of thymidine were determined in CDF 1 mice. Within 15 min after the injection of thymidine at a dose of 4.075 g/kg (between LD0 and LD50), mean arterial ...

Schistosomiasis mansoni: evidence for a milder response in germfree mice

open access: yesRevista do Instituto de Medicina Tropical de São Paulo, 1987
Germfree (GF and conventional (CV) mice were infected intraperitoneally with GF cercariae of Schistosoma mansoni and kept for six weeks. Twenty four hours before killing, they were injected with [³H]-thymidine.

Temporal shifts in antiretroviral therapy regimens and metabolic outcomes in people living with HIV: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

open access: yesHIV Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Introduction Antiretroviral therapy (ART) for people living with HIV has led to dramatically reduced mortality and improved life expectancy. This achievement is accompanied by a higher risk for metabolic and other non‐communicable diseases. The role and contribution of various ART regimens to adverse metabolic outcomes are not fully understood.

Rational design of 5'-thiourea-substituted α-thymidine analogues as thymidine monophosphate kinase inhibitors capable of inhibiting mycobacterial growth

open access: yes, 2007
Recently, thymidine monophosphate kinase (TMPK) emerged as an attractive target for developing inhibitors of Mycobacterium tuberculosis growth. The elucidation of the X-ray structure of TMPK of M.

Cytosolic delivery of bacterial metabolites by riboflavin transporters promotes MR1 antigen presentation and MAIT cell recognition

open access: yesImmunology &Cell Biology, EarlyView.
VitBAg antigen presentation is promoted through a cytosolic pathway that reaches ligand‐receptive MR1 to present to MAIT cells, like the riboflavin transport pathway. Riboflavin solute carrier transporters can promote this MR1 presentation, but they are not essential for this role, suggesting redundant pathways to uptake VitBAg.

Thymidine kinase, thymidylate synthase, and endothelial cell growth under hyperoxia

open access: yes, 1987
To determine the respective role of thymidine kinase and thymidylate synthase activities in the hyperoxia-induced decrease in DNA synthesis and their relationship with cell replication, we measured these two enzyme activities in primary cultures of ...

Inducing Antigen‐Specific and Functional Immune Responses in Mice Toward Bovine Herpesvirus 1 and Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus by Chimeric Peptides Delivered by Bovine Herpesvirus 4‐Based Vector

open access: yesImmunology, EarlyView.
Bovine Alphaherpesvirus 1 (BoHV‐1) and Bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV) are major drivers of respiratory disease in cattle. (A) To target both pathogens, two chimeric antigens—membrane‐linked and secreted—combining BoHV‐1 glycoprotein D and BRSV fusion glycoprotein were designed and expressed using recombinant BoHV‐4‐based vectors.

The MacBrain Resource Center (MBRC) rhesus macaque embryonic brain histology datasets

open access: yesJournal of Anatomy, EarlyView.
We introduce the MacBrain Resource Center (MBRC) Collections of rhesus macaque embryonic brain tissue. Here, we illustrate histo‐ and immunohistology from our dynamically growing Collection 6, which currently contains >10,000 zoomable and downloadable images from n = 14 male and female embryos from early to late in gestation.
