Steroid Receptor Coactivator‐1 Drives Tumor‐Associated Macrophage Reprogramming by Mediating MMP12 Transcription in Pancreatic Cancer Perineural Invasion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Steroid receptor coactivator‐1 (SRC‐1) reprograms tumor‐associated macrophages (TAMs) via signal transducer and activator of transcription 1(STAT1)‐mediated matrix metallopeptidase 12 (MMP12) transcription to drive perineural invasion (PNI) in pancreatic cancer.

Congenital pseudarthrosis of the tibia

open access: yesOrthopaedics & Traumatology: Surgery & Research, 2011
Congenital pseudarthrosis of the tibia (CPT) is an uncommon disease with various clinical presentations ranging from simple anterolateral tibial angulation to complete non-union with extensive bone defects. Classifications of radiographic findings include atrophic or hypertrophic pseudarthosis as well as cystic or dystrophic lesions.

Injectable BMSC‐Based Extracellular Matrix‐Mimicking Microtissue for Myocardial Infarction Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel injectable biomimetic extracellular matrix scaffold (JLSV) is designed for enhanced delivery of bone marrow‐derived mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs). By utilizing janus basic nanotubes, laminin, stromal‐derived factor‐1 alpha, and vascular endothelial growth factor, this innovative JLSV–BMSC microtissue shows promise in myocardial infarction ...

Biomechanical Stability and Osteogenesis in a Tibial Bone Defect Treated by Autologous Ovine Cord Blood Cells—A Pilot Study

open access: yesMolecules, 2019
The aim of this study was to elucidate the impact of autologous umbilical cord blood cells (USSC) on bone regeneration and biomechanical stability in an ovine tibial bone defect. Ovine USSC were harvested and characterized. After 12 months, full-size 2.0

Integrative Omics Reveals Glutamine Catabolism‐Driven Apoptotic Suppression in Monocytes upon Mechanical Unloading

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This research integrated multi‐omics analysis of bone tissue from HLU and control mice revealed that mechanical unloading suppresses intrinsic apoptosis and augments glutamine (Gln) catabolism in osteoclast lineage cells. The findings highlight pivotal roles for SLC1A5‐mediated Gln metabolism and XIAP/Diablo axis‐mediated apoptosis suppression.
