TiC-SAT: Tightly-coupled Systolic Accelerator for Transformers
Transformer models have achieved impressive results in various AI scenarios, ranging from vision to natural language processing. However, their computational complexity and their vast number of parameters hinder their implementations on resource ...

A Fuzzy Adaptive Tightly-Coupled Integration Method for Mobile Target Localization Using SINS/WSN
In recent years, mobile target localization for enclosed environments has been a growing interest. In this paper, we have proposed a fuzzy adaptive tightly-coupled integration (FATCI) method for positioning and tracking applications using strapdown ...

Low-profile, wideband, wide-scanning tightly coupled dipole phased array antenna
This paper presents a low-profile, tightly coupled dipole array (TCDA) antenna to achieve broad-angle scanning with excellent impedance matching over a wide bandwidth. The antenna element is innovatively designed using two planar shorted patches, forming

Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. A Tightly Coupled Region-Shape Framework for 3D
Most hybrid 3D segmentation methods either heuristically couple the respective algorithm or combine a true 3D with a 2D algorithm due to computational considerations.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Odysseus: a High-Performance ORDBMS Tightly-Coupled with IR Features
We propose the notion of tight-coupling [8] to add new data types into the DBMS engine. In this paper, we introduce the Odysseus ORDBMS and present its tightly-coupled IR features (U.S. patented). We demonstrate a web search engine capable of managing 20

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created
