ToPoliNano: Nano-magnet Logic Circuits Design and Simulation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Among the emerging technologies Field-Coupled devices like Quantum dot Cellular Automata are particularly interesting. Of all the practical implementations of this principle NanoMagnet Logic shows many important features, such as a very low power ...

Synthesis-friendly techniques for tightly-coupled integration of hardware accelerators into shared-memory multi-core clusters

open access: yes, 2013
Several many-core designs tackle scalability issues by leveraging tightly-coupled clusters as building blocks, where low-latency, high-bandwidth interconnection between a small/medium number of cores and L1 memory achieves high performance/watt.

Mass spectrometry based identification of AMP‐O‐Tris generated by Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Isolated Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10 generates the noncanonical ATP‐derived product AMP‐O‐Tris while in Tris‐containing buffer as identified via mass spectrometry, revealing relaxed nucleophile selectivity under isolated conditions. These findings suggest that multiprotein Csm complex assembly restricts Cas10 reactivity toward canonical cyclic ...

Feedforward Unscented Kalman Filter for INS/GPS Tightly Coupled Integration System

open access: yes, 2007
This paper deals with INS/GPS tightly coupled integration algorithm using the feedforward unscented Kalman filter (UKF). In the tightly coupled approach, nonlinear pseudorange measurement models are used to update the Kalman filter.

Suppression of lung adenocarcinoma migration through organelle alkalization by human lactoferrin – albumin fusion

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This paper reveals how human lactoferrin–albumin fusion (hLF‐HSA) potently suppresses lung adenocarcinoma cell migration. hLF‐HSA upregulates NHE7, leading to Golgi alkalization, disruption of the Golgi secretome, downregulation of MMP1, and reversal of EMT. These findings suggest a novel Golgi‐targeting strategy to suppress cancer cell migration.

Numerical investigation on tightly-coupled dipole arrays for wideband applications.

open access: yes, 2023
Tightly coupled dipole array (TCDA) is an advanced antenna array configuration in which the radiating elements are disposed very closed each other within the array layout. A positive electromagnetic coupling among the elements is induced and exploited in

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Derivation and characterization of retinal pigment epithelium from urine‐derived iPSCs

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Age‐related macular degeneration causes vision loss via RPE dysfunction and loss. Traditional iPSC therapies rely on invasive biopsies, limiting scalability. Here, we utilize urine‐derived stem cells as an accessible source to generate u‐iPSCs, successfully differentiated into pigmented RPE. This “Urine‐to‐Retina” platform provides a promising path for

Query Performance for Tightly Coupled Distributed Digital Libraries

open access: yes, 2008
We consider a digital library distributed in a tightly coupled environment. The library is indexed by inverted files and the vector space model is used as ranking strategy.
