A variant of Tile Pasting P system for tiling patterns
2010 IEEE Fifth International Conference on Bio-Inspired Computing: Theories and Applications (BIC-TA), 2010Pasting Systems, Tile Pasting P Systems and their variants are syntactic methods to generate tiling patterns and tessellation using simple rules of gluing tiles at their edges. In this paper new models namely, tissue-like, evolution-conditional communication tile pasting P system (t-ECCTPPS) and Parametric Tile Pasting P Systems (PTPPS) and its variant

Ceramic tiling inspection system
Construction and Building Materials, 2009Abstract This paper presents a proposal of an expert system for inspection and diagnosis of defects in adhesive ceramic wall or floor tiling (ACT), specifically developed for recent buildings. The system proposed includes a classification of the ACT defects and their most probable causes in different groups, as well as the relationship between ...

Triangular tile latching system
2022Summary: A triangular tile latching system consists of a set \(\Sigma\) of equilateral triangular tiles with at least one latchable side and an attachment rule which permits two tiles to get latched along a latchable side. In this paper we determine the language generated by a triangular tile latching system in terms of planar graphs.
