Strong Stabilization of Time-Delay Systems
Abstract Stable controllers are required due to modelling imperfections and for better performance achievements. As is well known, a stable stabilizing controller for a given real-rational plant exists if and only if the plant staisfies the so-called parity interlacing property. In this paper, a recent result, which proves that this condition is also

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Research on the Autonomous Control Technology Used in the Slurry Mixing System of Cementing Units
Cementing is a critical link in oil and gas exploitation, in which slurry density control is particularly important. In this study, we examined a slurry mixing control system in order to solve the problem of time delays in the mixing system. The model of

Fractional delay compensated discrete-time SMC for networked control system
Time-varying network induced delay in the communication channel severely affects the performance of closed loop network control systems. In this paper, a novel idea of compensating the fractional time varying communication delay in the sliding surface is

A Recipe for State Dependent Distributed Delay Differential Equations
We use the McKendrick equation with variable ageing rate and randomly distributed maturation time to derive a state dependent distributed delay differential equation.

NKCC1: A key regulator of glioblastoma progression
Glioblastoma (GBM) progression is driven by disrupted chloride cotransporter homeostasis. NKCC1 is highly expressed in stem‐like, astrocytic, and progenitor cells, correlating with earlier recurrence, while overall survival remains unaffected. NKCC1 serves as a prognostic marker and potential therapeutic target, linking chloride transporter imbalance ...

Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Robust Exponential Stability for LPD Discrete-Time System with Interval Time-Varying Delay
This paper investigates the problem of robust exponential stability for uncertain linear-parameter dependent (LPD) discrete-time system with delay. The delay is of an interval type, which means that both lower and upper bounds for the time-varying delay ...

Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Practical stability of linear switched impulsive system with time delay
This article concerns the study of practical stability of linear switched impulsive systems with time delay. By using Lyapunov functions and the extended Halanay inequality, we establish sufficient conditions for the practical stability and uniform ...
