Delay-Based Controller Design for Continuous-Time and Hybrid Applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Motivated by the availability of different types of delays in embedded systems and biological circuits, the objective of this work is to study the benefits that delay can provide in simplifying the implementation of controllers for continuous-time ...

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

A New Approach to Stability and Stabilization Analysis for Continuous-Time Takagi–Sugeno Fuzzy Systems With Time Delay

open access: yesIEEE transactions on fuzzy systems, 2018
Till now, there are lots of stability and stabilization results about Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy systems with time delay, but most of them are independent of the analysis of membership functions.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Stability for a non-local non-autonomous system of fractional order differential equations with delays

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2010
In this article, we establish sufficient conditions for the existence, uniqueness and uniformly stability of solutions for a class of nonlocal non-autonomous system of fractional-order delay differential equations with several delays.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Extremum Seeking for the First Derivative of Nonlinear Maps with Constant Delays via a Time-Delay Approach

open access: yesMathematics
This paper introduces an extremum seeking (ES) scheme for the unknown map’s first derivative by tailoring a demodulation signal in which the closed-loop system is subject to constant transmission delays.

Gravitational lens system SDSS J1339+1310: microlensing factory and time delay

open access: yes, 2016
We spectroscopically re-observed the gravitational lens system SDSS J1339+1310 using OSIRIS on the GTC. We also monitored the $r$-band variability of the two quasar images (A and B) with the LT over 143 epochs in the period 2009$-$2016. These new data in
