Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

New Absolute Stability Conditions of Lur’e Systems with Time-Varying Delay

open access: yesJournal of Control Science and Engineering, 2015
This paper is focused on the absolute stability of Lur’e systems with time-varying delay. Based on the quadratic separation framework, a complete delay-decomposing Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is constructed. By considering the relationship between the

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Delay‐Dependent Stability Criteria for Singular Systems with Interval Time‐Varying Delay [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, 2012
This paper is concerned with stability analysis for singular systems with interval time‐varying delay. By constructing a novel Lyapunov functional combined with reciprocally convex approach and linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, improved delay‐dependent stability criteria for the considered systems to be regular, impulse free, and stable are ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Delay-Dependent Robust Exponential Stability for Uncertain Neutral Stochastic Systems with Interval Time-Varying Delay

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2012
This paper discusses the mean-square exponential stability of uncertain neutral linear stochastic systems with interval time-varying delays. A new augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) has been constructed to derive improved delay-dependent ...

Correlation of the differential expression of PIK3R1 and its spliced variant, p55α, in pan‐cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PIK3R1 undergoes alternative splicing to generate the isoforms, p85α and p55α. By combining large patient datasets with laboratory experiments, we show that PIK3R1 spliced variants shape cancer behavior. While tumors lose the protective p85α isoform, p55α is overexpressed, changes linked to poorer survival and more pronounced in African American ...

Delay-Dependent Guaranteed Cost Controller Design for Uncertain Neural Networks with Interval Time-Varying Delay

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
This paper studies the problem of guaranteed cost control for a class of uncertain delayed neural networks. The time delay is a continuous function belonging to a given interval but not necessary to be differentiable.
