Adaptive Polynomial Approximation-Based Data-Driven Model of Parameter Design for Bidirectional L-LLC Converter

open access: yesIEEE Access
The L-LLC resonant converters have excellent performance to realize bi-directional power flow due to the symmetrical circuit structure of the resonant tank.

Variation of Tower Footing Resistance on the Lightning Surge Propagation through Overhead Power Distribution Lines

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2016
This paper deals with the analysis of the effects of electromagnetic transients generated by lightning on power distribution lines, considering the influence of tower footing resistance variation. Both types of lightning stroke, direct and induced, are

Time-Domain Analysis of Resonator Array Buffers [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Technology Letters, 2009
We present design and time-domain simulations of microresonator array optical delay lines. The proposed buffer consists of an n times m microresonator array unidirectionally coupled via a straight bus waveguide. We show that the use of a two-dimensional arrangement of resonators can compensate for the high order of dispersion and more specifically the ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.
