History Matters: Role of Time in Policy Making and Analysis
Policies are greatly affected by the dynamic social and political environment in which they are made and implemented. The effects on policies are analysed based on the events that take place around the formulation and implementation of the policy and different political and social impacts are often discernible.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Behavior of composite rigid frame bridge under bi-directional seismic excitations
Pushover analysis and time history analysis are conducted to explore the bi-directional seismic behavior of composite steel-concrete rigid frame bridge, which is composed of RC piers and steel-concrete composite girders.

Discretization of Dynamic Loading in Time History Analysis
ABSTRACTAlthough the numerical properties of a step-by-step integration method can be evaluated based on the currently available techniques, there is still lack of a technique for evaluating its capability to capture dynamic loading. In this work, the amplitude error caused by the step discretization error is identified and the correlation between the ...
