Simulated annealing (SA) to vehicle routing problems with soft time windows

open access: yesKKU Engineering Journal, 2014
The researcher has applied and develops the meta-heuristics method to solve Vehicle Routing Problems with Soft Time Windows (VRPSTW). For this case there was only one depot, multi customers which each generally sparse either or demand was different ...

Designing Gabor windows using convex optimization

open access: yes, 2018
Redundant Gabor frames admit an infinite number of dual frames, yet only the canonical dual Gabor system, constructed from the minimal l2-norm dual window, is widely used. This window function however, might lack desirable properties, e.g.

TVOCs and PM 2.5 in Naturally Ventilated Homes: Three Case Studies in a Mild Climate [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In southern Europe, the present stock of social housing is ventilated naturally, with practice varying in the di erent seasons of the year. In winter, windows are kept closed most of the day with the exception of short periods for ventilation, whereas ...

Airline Fleet Assignment with Time Windows [PDF]

open access: yesTransportation Science, 2000
Recognizing that allowing variability in scheduled flight departure times can result in improved flight connection opportunities and a more cost effective fleet assignment, we present a generalized fleet assignment model for simultaneously assigning aircraft types to flights and scheduling flight departures.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Tractor and Semitrailer Scheduling with Time Windows in Highway Ports with Unbalanced Demand Under Network Conditions

open access: yesMathematics
To address the challenges of unbalanced demand and high operational costs in highway port logistics, this study investigates the scheduling of tractors and semitrailers under time window constraints in a networked environment, where geographically ...

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Examination of time series through randomly broken windows [PDF]

open access: yes
In order to determine the Fourier transform of a quasi-periodic time series (linear problem), or the power spectrum of a stationary random time series (quadratic problem), data should be recorded without interruption over a long time interval. The effect
