Numerical and experimental evaluation of phantoms for off-body wireless communications [PDF]
The effects of a numerical and a physical phantom on different antenna configurations are evaluated. Input response, radiation patterns and efficiency are considered in the presence of the phantoms.

A Multi-Grid Iterative Method for Photoacoustic Tomography [PDF]
Inspired by the recent advances on minimizing nonsmooth or bound-constrained convex functions on models using varying degrees of fidelity, we propose a line search multigrid (MG) method for full-wave iterative image reconstruction in photoacoustic ...

Measurements of fundamental properties of homogeneous tissue phantoms [PDF]
We present the optical measurement techniques used in human skin phantom studies. Their accuracy and the sources of errors in microscopic parameters’ estimation of the produced phantoms are described. We have produced optical phantoms for the purpose of simulating human skin tissue at the wavelength of 930 nm.
