Association between prediagnostic serum metabolites and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma risk in two prospective cohorts

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 157, Issue 7, Page 1304-1315, 1 October 2025.
What's New? Exposures and mechanisms that contribute to and promote pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) remain unclear. In this study, the authors applied metabolomics to better understand PDAC etiology by examining associations between prediagnostic serum metabolites and PDAC risk.

Influence of Citrus sinensis Seeds on the Growth Performance, Ceca Bacterial Population and the Immune System Response of Broiler Chickens

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 11, Issue 5, September 2025.
Citrus sinensis seed powder at 0.5% in broiler diets optimized caecal bacterial populations, while 4% supplementation increased IgG levels compared to antibiotic use. These findings suggest potential benefits of orange seeds as a phytogenic feed additive, despite the need for further studies on their bioactive compounds and mechanisms.
