Lost and found in translation: the value of the human imiquimod model

Topical imiquimod (IMQ), a Toll‐like receptor (TLR) 7 agonist, induces transient cutaneous inflammation and is widely used in preclinical research as a ‘psoriasis‐like’ mouse model.
